How do you like or dislike it? What is the smallest circle it can make? I have a project I want to try with it, just don't know if this thing is worth it or not.Torchmate 2x2 CNC with Flashcut CNC controlsHypertherm Powermax45 Esab ET220i Razorweld 195 MigRazorweld 200ac/dc TigTormach 770, Tormach xstechRazorweld, Vipercut/Vipermig, SSC Foot Pedal Dealer
Reply:I am on my second.  First one broke.  It will make about a 2-1/2" - 3" ring.  The knurled rollers tend to wear down after rolling a few hundred of feet of flat stock and you have to increase pressure to keep the rollers from spinning.  You can increase pressure to the point that the main link that connects the moveable to the base will crack when you increase pressure on the rollers too much.  That said, it works as advertised but it just isn't heavy enough or hard enough steel to be durable.  I did buy a second one after the first quit and so far it is working okay.  I mainly roll 1x1/8 mild steel flats.
Reply:I just bought one this week using the 25 % off coupon.  I used it for rolling flat sheet metal 1'' wide X 16 gauge. I rolled 3'', 6'' , 9'', and 12'' rings. It worked fine. I don't think you can go wrong for $ 52.00.   Here's a posting that You may enjoy.http://weldingweb.com/vbb/showthread.php...ht=ring+roller

Reply:It's advertised for 1/4" round rod but was tough to get in. It got the job done though, wasn't happy about the marks it leaves. Sometime I'll make my own roller. It works but depending on the results you want it may not. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2

Reply:Aren't there two Harbor Freight ring rollers?   A little one that would mount on a bench, and a large floor mounted one with a large "ship's wheel"?    I am guessing that you are talking about the small one here, but not sure.I have seen the large one, and it looks pretty substantial, but I don't think that it will roll small diameter rings.RichardSculptures in copper and other metalshttp://www.fergusonsculpture.comSyncrowave 200 Millermatic 211Readywelder spoolgunHypertherm 600 plasma cutterThermal Arc GMS300 Victor OA torchHomemade Blacksmith propane forge

Reply:For smaller rings just use smaller pipe You end up with a Coil and then just stick it in a vise to compress it and cut doesn the middle of the "spring" and ta da- a whole bunch of ringsEd Conleyhttp://www.screamingbroccoli.com/MM252MM211 (Sold)Passport Plus & Spool gunLincoln SP135 Plus- (Gone to a good home)Klutch 120v Plasma cutterSO 2020 benderBeer in the fridge
