I am in the process of buying a new gas welding machine for my company.Shouldn't be over $5000 in priceWith a powerful generatorI already have one in mind but would like to "hear" other suggestions.I'd really appreciate some feedback! Thanks
Reply:Not really very much info to go on. What processes do you need to do? Just stick? Do you need to do mig or FC wire? How about tig, just DC or AC and DC? How many amps?Your question sort of reads like "I need a vehicle... Which one should I buy?...".No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Reply:Sorry, I forgot to paste the link to the one I have in mind.http://www.lincolnelectric.com/en-ca...olnElectric%29We only use Stick.Looking for something heavy duty as we load/unload it on the trucks and sometimes we leave it at the job site for a couple of days.We make railings and heavy automatic gates.I have some old rangers that work fine but need to upgrade. We also have 2 Miller Wildcat but the old rangers are tougher.Thanks.
Reply:Miller has there BOBCAT 225 in the rebate program that ends in a few days. Here's the link.http://www.millerwelds.com/landing/build-with-blue/ REBATE
Reply:The newer Miller TB 325 is right there in your price range, and is a little more compact now. Lots of aux power too.

Reply:I don't own anything new that's portable. But, if I did, I'd be considering the Lincoln 305G.
