What is the voltage and Amperage setting for 1/4" and 5/16" 661 t hardsurfacing electrode and for tungcore e wirefeed. First time using this. I was also wondering what the ideal voltage and amperage setting are for 316 stainless tig root, chrome tig root and a stt root.
Reply:The wire your list is obviously a brand name product. I would look up the manufacturer on the web and likely they have a data sheet online. The alternative is to give them a phone call. Hardsurfacing consumable manufacturers do not like it when their products are used incorrectly. It makes for less repeat business. They will give you the info right from the horse's mouth so to speak.
