Reply:I work for a major bearing manufacturer that is a competitor to SKF...... I won't bash SKF, partly because I have no loyalty to my company, and because this happens at every manufacturer.  Has nothing to do with Napa since Napa doesn't do quality inspections at the same level as SKF is supposed to.   It happens...more than it should.  its one of the more common bearing defects I hear about from my customers.   I'd guesstimate it happens maybe once in a few hundred thousand parts...but we hear about it for sure.   Take it back to Napa,  they'll get you a new one.   also, i recommend a manicure  haha

Reply:I was talking about my hands not the bearing  I always tell everyone there is not a brand or manufacturer or part that I havent gotten a bad one right out of the box. They are all made by us humans afterall.
Reply:Put a carrier bearing in my friends kids truck and a few days later he comes in and the spot welds between the bracket and the bearing hanger all broke .Out of six spot welds only two had penetrated enough to be called welds and they were the diameter of a pencil lead  QC at it's finest I guess as long as the welds held to get out of the factory they were goodBacked my CATMA over your CARMA oops clusmy me  What would SATAN do ??
