Welding table build and question about adjustablilty

THANKS to all the posts on this site about tables and comments, etc!!!! Am building a welding table very similar to the one in this link, http://weldingweb.com/vbb/showthread.php...-welding-table  (thanks to edmac) , only going to make it adjustable using 4" 3/16 and 3 1/2" 3/16", one leg inside the other, (I built and designed, and had engineered an overhead adjustable crane with the same concept)and make it adjustable with hydraulic or screw jacks of some kind.  Since I am short 5'7" my table height is 30-35"......but need to make it higher at times....therefore design it to give me another foot or so.  QUESTION.....or comments.....do you think this above concept would work as adjustable?????/    Many thanks!!!!Miller Big Blue Air PakMiller 350P, Python GunHyperthermsSpool gunsMetabo GrindersWe "dooit" as a family...."a family that sleds together stays together"......from sleddin to campin to 4 wheelin to workin.....gotta enjoy life somewhere!
