4x1/2 bar stockHalf inch pins/bolts1.5" OD rollersAll migged with .030 wire on gas 25/75The all thread is like one inch or better, not sure, I got it with the nut at the surplus yard. This is the first decent sized tool that I have built. The stationary roller had to be tacked to the pin, otherwise the pin would move, still have traction issues, I eventually want to have dies for square tube.. It us mounted like a receiver hitch on my table, interchangeable. When my buddy gets his lathe, I will turn some 2 inch rollers instead, While using this, an afterthought was that the more distance between the 2 rollers, the more flat and wasted stock. The bearings were $25 a piece from Grainger (ouch)Not to shabby, and it works. Let me know what you think or if you have ideas to easily change dies, as of now its stuck in there and the welds will have to be cut.Last edited by TheJackal; 02-16-2012 at 08:37 PM.14' PowerMig 210 MP13'Burntables 5x10 CNC Table14' SAE300 HE on a 12' Ram 4500 60 CA 4x4. Reply:Neat project. It's probably the angle of the pics, but it doesn't look square. Does it roll true?Tim Beeker.
Reply:the traction issues could be solved by adding knirls to the rollers. the where I work we make backing rings all day everyday we have our driving rolls knirled and ours are hydrolicly driven. All and all your roller looks good and if it works great for you .

Reply:On your future dies you could use a set screw to secure them to the shafts, that way you could pull the shafts to change dies.Tim Beeker.
