My Longevity 80i plasma has been sitting on my table at work for months collecting dust, so I decided to build a cart for it and get it back in action. Also, I'm getting tired of having to use a grinder with a cut-off wheel to chop up the skeletons from the plasma table.(Click Images for larger view.)Picture of the CNC table doing it's thing:And a video of same:[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kg26BVytNeA[/ame]Cut program finished:Skeleton on the table:The cut parts:Here's the top and front/bottom after bending with our shiny new (2 month old) 14' CNC press brake (the brake was the shop's "Christmas present" this year):And here it is all welded together and painted:Front view:Perspective view:All that's left to do is get a few air hose fittings to get the hose reel connected. Also, I think I might try to find a red or black hold-down strap to replace the yellow one.Visit Tensaiteki.com
Reply:That's pretty cool. I've been thinking of putting a hand torch on my cnc table also. I doubt it will be as fancy.
Reply:If you got, flaunt it. I would if I had it. That's definitly one of a kind, unless you decide to make two. Awesome.
