So I left my torch out on my table overnight last night.  This morning, I went out to resume work and found...   He had a good little web going in there, too.  Probably happens all the time, but makes me wonder what's going to wind up inside the power source over time.__David Hillman

Reply:Nothing special.  18 gauge steel shelves and 1/2" square steel rods.  Not sure what kind of steel... got them all off Craigslist.__David Hillman

Reply:A little known secret amongts HVACR guys. A certain type of spider, and that kinda looks like it, is attracted to natural gas. Well one day I happen to be hangin out with my HVACR buddy and he's telling me about this. And how they will get into the orifice on a gas furnace, spin a web, die and clog it up.That very day! he get's a call about a his friends furnace not working. We go there and he starts taking the burner apart and looks into the orifice. Then he hands it to me and says to look in there. Sure enough, a friggin spider is clogging it!!! Unbelievable timing, huh.I wonder if that same type of spider is attracted to Ar??? Reply:I do know the solenoid operated vent on the carbon cannister (vapor fuel recovery) system on most modern automobiles has a spider screen so the solenoid / vent system doesn't get clogged up.  I never understood what the attraction was to the critters until reading this thread.  perhaps something in gasoline fumes has the same ingredient / attraction as natural gas?--zip
