Hello! This is my first post.I have an old air cooled 150 amp Vis Arc II TIG torch that was sold by Air products. I broke my last cup and can not locate another. Is there a source for consumables for old torches? I am pricing new torches but being a CRB (Cheap Rat Bastard) I would like to find a few cups to hold me over. I'm using this on a Sears HF arc stabilizer attached to my Lincoln AC/DC 225 tombstone welder. The thread is a 1/2-28.Here are some photos. Thanks,ChrisLast edited by Shadowdog5000; 05-21-2011 at 11:28 PM.
Reply:ebay china torch ! i picked up #9 weld kraft style with a gas valve for $25
Reply:If you check with F & M / Mafco (based in the Greater Cincinnati area) or with Weld Plus (also in the same area), I believe they will be able to serve you. I worked for several companies that used that style torch and both of these distributors took care of them. They both have web sites.
Reply:Found it(with some help from a welder)! Even found someone who sells the torch brand new.The nozzles are South weld and sell for $6.99 for a 10 pack.Main web of eastern http://easternweldingsupplyofohio.com/products.htmEaster tig section, VisArc torch on last page: http://easternweldingsupplyofohio.com/pdf/Weld-It.pdfSouthweld website: http://jeffwhitlowcountry.com/doylessupply/Southweld TIG catalog (on Page 18) http://jeffwhitlowcountry.com/doyles...IG-CATALOG.pdfInexpensive nozzles http://www.atlweldingsupply.com/Tig-...s_c_837-1.htmlThanks,ChrisLast edited by Shadowdog5000; 05-22-2011 at 10:25 PM. |
