Welding Lab Pics

Here are a few pics of the Welding Lab where I teach my 8th grade class.  A friend and I did this from a bare floor in 6 days over the Xmas break.  We built all the tables, reassembled the booths from individual panels.  All the machines were donated.  Not the best in the world, but we sure are proud of it

Reply:Very nic and compact...Lets you keep an eye on everything at all times!...zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a  dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.

That being said, we took this shop from an empty floor and spent less than 3000.00.  All safety equipment is new and top notch!  Our local distributor is Top Notch in supporting school programs!In our instructor workshops and such, the folks from Miller are quite arrogant and offer no help unless you are willing to pay.   Lincoln is second to none when it comes to helping instructors and providing educational materials.

Reply:Good work on getting those donations, it's tough to get useable gear out of people who use it. If miller is so stuck up as to not invest in their own future, put up more Lincoln signage and paint those blue machines red...also a good reason to set up a paint booth in the next room over then, fume extractors! Good work setting up the programs, idle hands and all that, congrats, you're doing your part to keep the mfg and creative sectors alive in this part of the world as well!
