welding stainless

I am in the process of hopefully welding some sch 10 11/2" stainless piping with my Miller 130 volt MIG welder. I need some help on what wire I should use and what type of gas should I use. This is 316 stainless
Reply:ER 316 WireSome would say 90% He, 7.5% Ar, 2.5% CO2I like to use 98% Ar, 2% CO2If you're going to use the first gas, you might be able to get away with 0.030" Diameter wire, but I would probably use 0.023" for that small of a machine.
