I have had several ask how this little machine welds. I ran a test piece with MIG and a piece with 1/8 7018 and 3/32 6013. Its been a long time since I did any stick so dont slam me to bad.The stick welded very nice, stable arc that was controlable and seemed to keep a even heat was running about 130 amp on the 7018 and about 80 amp on the 3/32 6013. I can find no dislikes about this machine so far.
Reply:Hey bhardy501, glad you finally posted some results from your new TA181i... I suspect a lot of folks like me were waiting... knew the machine had arrived yet it remained quiet for some time. Sounds like you like it. Rick V 1 Airco Heliwelder 3A/DDR3 CTC 70/90 amp Stick/Tig Inverters in Parallel1 Lincoln MIG PAK 151 Oxy-Acet
Reply:I apologize for the wait but I ended up in the hospital being very dehydrated and it has taken me some time to get over it. Hope the pics help, even with my chicken scratch welding.
