Hi All,I have a MVP 210 Hobart that I'm very happy with. I use it for repairing my Landscape equipment and to Fabricate new ideas that pop into my head. The Esab 200i seems pretty outrageous at 26 lbs. compared to my Hobart at almost 80lbs. Also it looks like it will deliver the same and maybe performance than the MVP with a lot of cool features.Having fully adjustable voltage is a plus with the Esab. The only drawback I see is that the Esab is 220v only. At the current price of under $900 for the Esab, it seems like a no brainer. Please give me your thoughts from the years of experience many of you guys have. Thanks in advance,Pete
Reply:It is pretty nice.  I would rather have more control over voltage. It probably would be nice to be able to use it on 110 but so far it has not been an issue. The nozzle is a little cheezey on the unit though.
Reply:I'd keep the 210mvp and buy other equipment/tools.tackleexperts.comwww.necessityjigs.comhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/mach...dingequipment/

Reply:The fact that they are 230V only negates a lot of the advantage of portability. If they made a dual-voltage version I would buy one in a heartbeat. I told their rep as much at Fabtech.JohnA few weldersA lot of hammersA whole lot of C-clamps

Reply:Guy's.............I can't disagree with that at all. And, as a newbie, I do agree 100%. I will take a full look at what I want/need from my welder and think things over. Thanks for all the good help,Pete
