1/8" steel, 3/32" tungsten and 3/32" filler, ez-tig 165i set to about 130-135a.Ran hotter and faster than I normally have been, but the puddle developed well and the heat didn't get out of hand on the material...........did I find the sweet spot? Have I been going to slowly this whole time?Feels good.... Attached ImagesHobart EZ-Tig newbie.
Reply:Gotta clean the metal better.. That's what the brownish spots on the weld is..floating junk.Heat is "OK" but more control is needed..Slow down and go easy.Try to make every bead like the last one you made..Providing the first one is good and uniform..Practice X3......zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a  dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.
Reply:also pay attention to your weld pool, where you didnt lap the edges you could have paused that second to make sure you covered both edges
Reply:Those "brown spots" are silicon from the tig wire. Probably 70s2My hood and I... Till death do us part
