Perched owl in stainless

Heres a small owl I knocked up at the weekend.Did this one in stainless as its been ordered for a gardenI still have his talons to do so a couple of hours yet to finfish Attached Images

Reply:To all you guys who have commented positively.. I cant thank you enough... it makes it so much more fun to do these.. and when I say fun thats exactly what they are all about. I do these as a hobby, Ive only just started doing them so im not trying to say im some kind of famous sculptor. I also dont do them to resemble EXACTLY what they are. So to all you guys with negative comments I say sorry they dont look like what you think they are but if you fancy showing me your work that look exactly like "a Barn Owl" a "Golden Eagle" an "Osprey" a fish or anything else ive done please feel free to post your pics, i look forward to seeing them. Reply:OK, I think you're taking the observations a little to seriously. I don't think they were made to be malicious or to say it isn't good. They were just stating opinion or observation. The face frame is a bit long and pointed at the bottom, but given the context of an anniversary gift you stated in a later post, it makes sense.  It's a forum and usually people get to hear it all, both ways. Mostly, if it's a criticism in a case like this, it's meant to help, not always, but mostly. That's the nice thing about forums, you don't get the Mom or friend responses. It's also a personal taste thing too. Don't stop posting. Just realize that you're going to get those comments that are intended to help but may sting a little. Or post a disclaimer in the title that you just want to be praised. 200amp Air Liquide MIG, Hypertherm Plasma, Harris torches, Optrel helmet, Makita angle grinders, Pre-China Delta chop saw and belt sander, Miller leathers, shop made jigs etc, North- welders backpack.
