I bought a firesteak torch set from ESAB in 1988 and for a few years now the torch has needed to be rebuilt( will suddenly pop and be out). I am looking for info concerning warranty, to find out if it is under warranty but also a pdf about this might be nice too, so does anyone have any pointers? Reply:in 1985 i bought an electric multimeter. it crapped out in thelate 90's. i opened it and found a tag with the inspectors initials. what the hell, i called the company and told the guy who answered what was going on. turns out he was the guy who inspected it 10 years before.."send it back" he said..2 weeks later here it comes and it works...
