Bought a Miller Invision

Check out the link below that i posted in the miller section. I am thinking i jumped the gun on this machine. I paid 650.00 for the machine and was hoping that i would hook up my RC suitcase to it and have another welder. Reply:Go to miller's web site and get a owner's manual by your serial number.You should be able to make a 19 to 14 pin adapter and run the welder as a BASIC mig with your feeder. If you want me to help send me your e-mail and the serial number and complete model name by private message. I will see what I can find out.
Reply:Didn't Duane or one of those other crafty old codgers make a 14 pin for their bobcat? I would track him down and pick his brain about which pins need what power for 14 pin, and then find out what pins on the 19 pin connector use what power, and make an internal 14 pin adapter that comes out the front of the machine for regular use if i were you. as to the pendant, this is not a common machine, and I would look up ccawg, or one of the other guys that has handled a lot of welding machines, maybe weldersales, or 7A749 would know something too.Dynasty 200DXPassport plus w/ spoolmate 100victor 315c oxy/(act and prop)Miller digital elitemilwaukee power tools

Reply:Well that just sucks! I hope you can find a way to get it to work the way you want it to. I went back and double checked the manuals I looked at the other day. I didn't see anything about hooking up a pendant in any of the ones I looked at..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Reply:We got the welder hooked up and it welds awsome with the rc suitcase. I was a little concerned over the whole 14 pin connector. Monday morning i took apart the covers to change from 460 to 230, and bam, there was a 14 pin connector inside. Drilled a hole for my 14 pin from the suitcase and off we go. Works great. Nice and smooth welder. Should work out great in the shop. Thanks to everyone who helped me out on this one.
