Reply:Related, the PM45 is $1.6k at www.weldersupply.com (MI outfit). $0 for S&H. The listing states its their DAILY special."Discovery is to see what everybody else has seen, and to think what nobody else has thought" - Albert Szent-Gyorgyi

Just some other things that make it attractive other than max amps.I got mine cheap when I ordered a PM30 off eBay and was informed that they had run out of them after the sale. They contacted me and gave me a crazy good price on a 45 with a bunch of extra consumables tossed in. I'm happy it worked out that way. You can't use the amps you didn't buy. Just something to consider for a little more cash right now.
Reply:What I actually need is a new truck . Yea, I keep thinkin about replacing my 2000 3/4 ton chevy. I would do it for sure if gas millage was better then what I have and might go to a extended cab.

I have a Miller Extreme 375, which is comparable & hardly use it except when I'm doing sheet metal sculpture. I'm buying a PM 45 if I ever replace it just because I think it strikes the perfect balance between the big machine (PM 65) & the small one.(PM 30)
Reply:Harris Welding Supply in Monroe Oh. They sell on Ebay under the name Torch king. I bought a PT 225 off them last summer at an AMAZING deal. Ask for Todd.RG_______________________Hobart 187Northern Tool Plasma 375Harris 85 O/A Rig (Ireland) |
