The 'teardrop trailer' was one of those things born out of a man's ingenuity and desire to create something useful with meager finances. Little did he know that his design would inspire countless DIY'ers to make their own personalized version based off the original. There are even modern day groups or clubs that gather to show off their little creations.Anyhow, this copy of the original magazine article is a fun read, just for the sheer novelty even if you don't want to build one.I stumbled across this because I saw that a lot of the modern builders use the heavy duty Harbor Freight 4x8 trailer as a foundation.
