I was watching "How do they do it" tonight and it was showing building aluminum manifolds. The welder putting it together was using a straight torch to weld some of the sections together. I have never seen one that was straight. Is this something special?
Reply:nothing special, you can order them all day long.tackleexperts.comwww.necessityjigs.comhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/mach...dingequipment/
Reply:Most of the torch manufacturers have them in both water and air cooled. Look for either straight torches or pencil-style torches.
Reply:Ok thanks just something I had never seen, but then there are a couple of other things I haven't seen yet.
Reply:Might want to look into getting yourself a gas lens for your current torch.
Reply:weldcraft has a bunch of straight torches, both for machine and hand use. http://www.weldcraft.com/products/wp-series/ |
