I have found the mig i have always wanted the millermatic 211. It has the dual voltage input i wanted to see in a welder it can also do aluminium so i won't have to buy a tig. The price is the only stumbling point now.

Reply:I like my Miller 211. I have the spool gun and I do have to move quick with it. The hobart looks like it has taps, so the amperage setting are not as adjustable as the miller for the same kind of money.Miller Thunderbolt AC/DCMillermatic 211 and spoolmatePower Plasma 50Syncrowave 180 SDMike

Reply:I like my 211 and spoolmate, it is portable enough for me and the dual voltage makes it possible to do larger material than the 110 machines, I have welded 1/2 inch in multiple pass that has held on some large car wash equipment. It didn't look pretty, and have also done as small as 16 gauge, but had to do it in small bursts. Now all i need is to get a tri-mix for stainless. oh, and I would like an XMT, a Trailblazer and....Millermatic 211Spoolmate 100Miller Econ TwinCutmaster 39

Reply:I purchased a Miller 211 today to take advantage of the rebate program that ends on 11/4 ($75.00) rebate. I paid $987.00 before TTL and the local dealer threw in two sets of Hobart leather long gloves. I purchased to support a local dealer. It is a great welder.Yakdung
