.045 sold wire with an ln 25, ever done it?

friend of mine just gave me two big spools of 045 solid wire..ever use such a thing in an ln 25?,i'd like to use it up if i can..argon?

Reply:I guess it depends on your power source, but I doubt you'll notice any difference between an LN-25, and any other dedicated Mig machine. Here is some .045” L-56 vertical up ran with an LN-25. Reply:Drive roll kit is about $75, so you need to balance that against the economy of the wire. I also stopped using the larger spools in my LN-25, in favor of the 10 pounders, as carrying the feeder around with the big ones gets old fast.

Reply:dang it! don't have the proper gun set up,need to adapt one of my profax whips to the ln 25,,,back to stick welding for today anyway!!
