So I broke down and bought me a new ride. Found out real quick I needed more carrying capacity. I checked with the folks at the Honda shop for a rear rack. They could get me an aftermarket one that was a direct bolt up, and they ONLY wanted $162 for it and take a week or so to get it. I went home and looked thru the scrap metal stock and found plenty of 1/2" 14 gage tubing, and some 1" 11 gage strap. I got out the MM140 loaded with .035 FC, and the chop saw and got started. I ended up with this, larger area than the aftermarket one. It has enough room to carry 3 12 packs of beer without having to stack any. I carry the tie-downs in the red bag by the rack. I'll be able to take an extra 2-3 gallon gas can along for longer rides, and a cooler for beverages(no beer while riding, that's for after the ride when I get home). Attached Images

Reply:I have a 2011 Kawasaki Klr 650 my manual says 87 but I use 93 in it and it runs alot better and doesn't pung when accelerating hard. It also bumped my mileage from 58 to 63 mpg. You might want to look for a different from sprocket I switched mine from a 15 to a 17 tooth and it helped alot with high rpms on the interstate. One last thing is you need a loud exhaust so people can hear you help cut down with people mergeing over on you.Vantage 300 kubota ,miller 304 xmt ,lincoln ln 25 pro , ranger 305 G, plenty of other tools of the trade to make the sparks fly.
Reply:i use 93 in my 4 cylinder colorado. it kicks ***.

Reply:My 07 VFR800 runs better on 93 octane. It also gets a significant increase in fuel mileage. Turns out operational cost is cheaper on 93 than 87.Making as much progress as a one legged duck in the middle of a pond, just going in circles.

I don't think a 60% increase in economy can be achieved on your boat motor regardless of what fuel you use.Millermatic 200Hobart Handler 120Victor O/A & Ramco BandsawLincoln 225 ACSnapOn AD HoodMiller XMT304/22AHypertherm Powermax 1650 G3Lincoln Idealarc DC600 w/Extreme 12 VSMiller Digital Elite "Joker"
