Hand wheel repair

I posted this elsewhere without a lot of response.The handle threads on my hand wheel have worn out. Two ways to fix that I have thought of are brazing it in place or tapping the hole to a larger thread and making a new handle. The wheel is CI and I am not looking to match just work. A new handle would be better for me, as designed the old way was solid and did not spin. It was knurled and would not readily slip in your hand.All suggestions appreciated.CDoing the best I can with what I got

Reply:well you could thread it back and lock it with a setscrew.Miller thunderbolt 250Decastar 135ERecovering tool-o-holic ESAB OAI have been interested or involved in Electrical, Fire Alarm, Auto, Marine, Welding, Electronics ETC to name a just a few. So YES you can own too many tools.
