I am 23 but have worked in and currently do work in shops where welders are used often so welding isn't new to me but I recently finally starting buying up my own gear and got myself a used ESAB Power Compact 205 mig. We have 230-240 wall voltage as standard down here in New Zealand so am quite rapt to finally be buying up my own gear for my own stuff. Looking forward to lots of use from my "new" welder. Was wondering how many others on here have used this model ESAB. I think its known as the Power Compact 200 in America.
Reply:Congrads on the machine. Here in the states we have a law that says we have to use a hand-me-down buzzbox for 20 years before we get a mig..
Reply:The migwelding.uk forums would have more folks with ESAB-specific experience on the recent models. Here in the states we have a law that says we have to use a hand-me-down buzzbox for 20 years before we get a mig..
