Hello, I use a gas torch. I looking for a way to a heat sinking material because there are 2 things in the near future I need to weld that will get damage. Seems I recall a site that sold some blue kinds of foam that could heat sink, but O cant find it on the net when I try to google it.    thanks!

Reply:What about clamping aluminum stock to the piece?  Aluminum sucks the heat up really quickly, something like 1/8x2"x2" angle would make a nice heat sink.Hobart LX235Victor 250 Oxy-Acetylene Rig (welding and cutting)Bobcat 773F-350, 1999, 4x4, 16' 10K# trailerOutdoor Wood Burner - 10 cords/year
