Hello all,  I was wondering if anyone has ordered anything from Welder Supply Company out of Beloit Wisconsin. I was searching around and they seem to have the best prices. I've never heard of them before and I'm about to lay out a chunk of change, so I was just wanting to make sure they are a good legit company. Thanks, Donny

Reply:Thank you for your replies! I did search the forum before submitting my question and couldn't confirm what I was looking for. In the day of everyone trying to rip you off to make a fast buck, I'd rather be safe than sorry. Again thank you, it's nice to have a place like this to turn to for so much good information!

Reply:I ordered a 181I a few weeks ago from Welders supply for $769, a week later they lowered the price to $699, I called them and they gave me the difference, the only problem I had was the ground clamp was a cheap steel one and not the copper one that the website said was included, I spoke to Welders supply and they said there was nothing they could do, so I called Thermal arc and they basically said the same thing, guess Ill just use the cheap one till it wears out.
Reply:Well, they gave you the difference is pretty impressive. Amazon will not do that. They say it was the lowest price when you bought it.
Reply:Welder Supply may have been bought out by AirGas?Get what you can while the pricing is still locally based as it may change.If it isn't them, then there is another Supply outfit in Beloit...
