2 of the most recent simple projects

A couple recent simple projects to keep me occupied 1 was a toiletry tray that was a request, but I wanted it to be a little different than what might be found in a store.  So for the legs I twisted them like they were for a basket, then took them apart and used for the legs.  When that was done I powder coated the tray in coppervein for a finish.  The second project is a sign or pot holder that I scrolled bent and tig welded.  I tiged it with a Thermal Arc 201ts at about 119 amps and no filler, I still have to powder coat it just havent decided what color yet.  I also did a horseshoe coat hanger but didnt get any photos of it, but will say that welding those has been a bit of trip 1 day theu tig finr and the next they wont. Reply:I dont know if rustoleum does powdercoating powders, this one I did with a powdercoat and not paint.  It had 2 coats of powder due to some smudges on my part for the 1st trip into the oven.

Reply:the scroll tool creats the flat part not sure if I could round it out a little more so that it is not so flat, and yes I like the sheer, if I had more room I would use some other method of cutting the metal but it does work well.  I also have a rotory sheer the I have just started to use on some very thin stainless that will see more use on some cutouts that I will be doing.
