Hello,I'm in need of some help. Here's the scenario, I just moved to a different bench in my shop. I was using a Miller Dialarc for the last 4+ years, and now that my old boss has quit, I now get to use a Dynasty DX. The problem is there is no foot pedal adjustment for the amperage, it will strike an arc but only to the amperage i set for the peak. I hope im just being ignorant with the settings of the machine. Not to long ago, a certain someone forgot to turn on the coolant system and burned out the torch lines. Maybe that has something to do with the problems?i dont know.thank youchris
Reply:Its just a guess but I think the third button from the left has to be pressed until the top light is on.
Reply:Either find the operator's manual, or download the pdf from the Miller website.I agree with JayO that your remote amp control is probably off. Might be worth checking the pot in your foot control too, or the cable leading up to it. Hope it is not a board problem.Good Luck.Weld like a "WELDOR", not a wel-"DERR" MillerDynasty700DX,Dynasty350DX4ea,Dynasty200DX,Li ncolnSW200-2ea.,MillerMatic350P,MillerMatic200w/spoolgun,MKCobraMig260,Lincoln SP-170T,PlasmaCam/Hypertherm1250,HFProTig2ea,MigMax1ea. |
