Hi all. I was wondering if a 6500w gen. will power this combo. http://www.eastwood.com/versa-cut-60...combo-kit.htmlI have tried and tried to find an engine drive that I can afford but right now I am thinking all I can do is power this combo with a gen. Right now I have a 3500w gen that powers my little 100 mig and 95 tig machine but I need to get more power and bigger machines to do bigger jobs.In a perfect world I would have a Ranger 250 GXT with Tig module and Mig box but I just don't have the thousands of dollars to spend. In your opinion what would be the best set up for mobile welding as far as Mig, plasma and generator? Thanks!
Reply:Mine didn't last long on household power, I can't imagine how fast it would blow up on generator power.Torchmate 2x2 CNC with Flashcut CNC controlsHypertherm Powermax45 Esab ET220i Razorweld 195 MigRazorweld 200ac/dc TigTormach 770, Tormach xstechRazorweld, Vipercut/Vipermig, SSC Foot Pedal Dealer
