guys does a spool gun work as good as regular mig welder or what are the pros and cons if a spool gun works good what brand Quality is our policy.
Reply:If you are bent on running 1lb spools, you can still load it in a regular mig, no need for a spoolgun. If you really find then need for alum, a spoolgun is your best bet.Weld like a "WELDOR", not a wel-"DERR" MillerDynasty700DX,Dynasty350DX4ea,Dynasty200DX,Li ncolnSW200-2ea.,MillerMatic350P,MillerMatic200w/spoolgun,MKCobraMig260,Lincoln SP-170T,PlasmaCam/Hypertherm1250,HFProTig2ea,MigMax1ea.
Reply:I don't understand what you mean by "permanent mig". Are you going to try and run a spoolgun off of a stick welder or something? You need to have a MIG welder first, the spoolgun is an add-on.
