Argon tank size 330 fair price

I was quoted by the LWS in Denton, tx $349 for a 330 size bottle.  Seems fair, but I'm gauging it against an airgas which seem to have an unfavorable rating around here.  Thoughts?  This is my first bottle purchase and the consensus is to purchase the biggest you can afford.  I am in school so this will help me get ahead of the curve.

Reply:$250 for a 330cu ft customer owned bottle seems to be the going price in SoCal, bottle content price varies.  Unfortunately, it seems like many places don't like handling customer owned 330cu ft bottles.  Shovelon uses Simms Welding quite a bit.  Simms charges $48 dollars for 330cu ft bottle of argon and that is a pretty good price for account customers, but they won't handle customer owned 330cu ft bottles.

Reply:Thanks for the info.  In the end it looks like I will go with a 150 tank for $216 out the door filled from an outfit in Dallas.  They supply our school and give students discount.  I told my wife the price and she said "that's not the price we discussed."  And 150 seems to be sufficient for my use.  Now to convince her if I can buy a pedal.....
