Anyone ever use the stuff ?It's about all I can put mu hands on for a lil stainless work here without buying yet another bottle of gas....although I'm not sure I buy into the need for helium when welding SS with a mig.Nah. Too thin to stick it. .045. Reply:yea it was flux covered, seems like it was 45, or whatever was recommended for joining dissimilar metals.So basically you just gotta weld a tear?If I remember correctly, the # corresponds to the heat range, although there's some more to the metallurgy.
