My boss has this plasma cutter that overheats after just 20min of light cutting. Light meaning set up small piece to be cut on table. Cuts small piece 1/4 or thinner, reset table, start on next. 45amp cutter generally stays on 30amp with plenty of ventilation. Think its a year old. Any suggestions. Service/bad sensor?Sent from my SPH-L710 using TapatalkUsing Tapatalk
Reply:The 625 that I have used had a very short duty cycle. If it seems shorter now than when it was new....it could be dirt/dust buildup on internal components....or possibly the fan has stopped working. I would disconnect it from power and pull the cover and see what it looks like inside.Jim Colt
Reply:10-4 I saw it had a short duty cycle. Fan works great. Dust could be a problem.Just thought that was a little ridiculousSent from my SPH-L710 using TapatalkUsing Tapatalk |
