Looking for a source for Cheap Miter Gears

Guys. im looking to do several tables that are adjustable. im looking for some miter gears in the 2" OD range. and would prefer not to spend like $30-$50 each and would prefer something recycled. Since each table takes 4 gears.Any ideas on something i can readily find in a junk yard i can rip into and get the gears?
Reply:If you mean bevel gears try looking at landing gear drives for 5th wheel campers. Reply:Spider gears from a rear end if you have a junkyard. I've looked on ebay and its pricy. If you do that look under steampunk industrial gears. Reply:Somewhere I saw where a guy made an adjustable table using two trailer jacks, one on each end.  He linked the two together by a rod running under the table.  It was slick. Reply:Find a semi trailer shop, landing gears would have them. A lot of times the leg gets bent and the gears are still good.
