We have 2 STIHL TS400 Demolition saws... Our older one has had a cracked guard for some time so I decided to bring it home and button it up... I also made a new handle to adjust the guard as the original one broke.Welding the guard was tough because it is 2 pieces riveted together -- the closer you get to the other piece the more hear it was drawing and my welds started to look a little cold and bird-s##tty.Now I need to replace the mufflers on both but we waited so long the bolt heads rotted... Grrrr now I need to take both saws apart to get them off...Miller Dynasty 300 DXMiller CST280Miller Maxstar 150 STH

Reply:If it ever breaks too much to fix you can get aftermarket guards on ebay for like 40-70$ depending if you run a 12" or 14" wheel. |
