Had an old propane tank and decided my only option would be to cut it in half. That gives me one and one to sell. Where i am at now is what to torch into the sides. Flames, Flowers. What do you guys think? I figure the one i sell i will give them the choice. Also what should i sell one for? I got the tank for free and spent about an hour cutting it apart. So i have an hour in it so far prolly another hour at least for cutting the sides. $200, $300? Reply:First, where did you get the tank? Been trying to find one. Second, I have seen, on the web, a guy builds these and he puts on feet on these and getting 6 to 700 dollars apiece for them!
Reply:my next door neighbor at my office had one. Sold his property and i asked if i could buy it and he just gave it to me. It was made in 1952. I had never seen one like this before. Millermatic DVIMillermatic 251Older buzz box Cheap 120 welder
Reply:what do you like? how good are you with your torch/plasma?As for the price? You're keeping one so don't charge them people for the cost of cutting it in half. I'd make your price a base price for the blank unit and then a set charge per hour for the cut design. Say $250 for the base (cleaned and painted of corse) and say $100 an hour for a cut in design. There are no problems. There are only solutions. It's your duty to determine the right one.Hobart Handler 210Airco 225 Amp MSM Stinger
