Doing a3g vertical up open root mma with 6011 3.2mm rod for root pass using the keyhole technique. It's for a test which will be x-rayed. Anyone got any tips on rod angles and if restarts have to be grinded down too. Any tips would be appreciated
Reply:One thing I do for a restarts. When the rod is getting short, and I know I have to stop. I punch the rod right through the plate / pipe. This will leave a small hole. Then I feather this area down with a die grinder with a cut off wheel on it.
