Purge Chamber

Hello Everyone,  I was going to build my own purge chamber was going to use 1/8 inch aluminum 30x30  with a plexi glass top kind of like a sand blast cabinet. Not being cheap just cant afford the real deal as of now. Any thoughts- advice. Question 2 has anyone used any aluminum tape for sealing pipe during purging is it the same as furnance tape? Reply:Ok im going to show my newbness.  I understand what a purge chamber is but in what situations would you need such a box?  I understand purging the back side of tubing, just not the need for a box to work in.
