Now then done abit off tig n mig welding wen a left school for a year n half but since then only done abit off mig n not touched a tig welder but just bought a kempi super Kempack 150 it has a 240v plug on it but can any one tell me if I can plug this into a normal house hold socket or is it a 30 amp plug cheersSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Reply:Hello and welcome.Most of the members here who have talked about Kempi are typically from some where other than the US, often from Europe or Oz. The vast majority of members here though are in north america where power supplies are different than in Europe or other countries.. Reply:I had a feeling you were probably across the pond. Most of the replies you'd have gotten from guys over here would have not been very useful since here we use 110v power for most "standard" household outlets and 230v ones are only for heavy tools and home appliances like dryers or ranges.Hopefully some of the members outside the US can help you some..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size.
