Reply:I used 150, 220, 320, 400 then 600 sandpaper with a palm sanders. Reply:Thanx 7a749, I learned today that the scratches in the ss from the first pass with 120 can be buffed out nicely with a gator finishing disc from lowes. I use the medium for major scratches but mostly fine. I can then go right to 220 etc...these gator discs mount to a 4 1/2 inch angle grinder, needs backing pad.
