Reply:Not sure if this is a good place to ask but some where on the forum I read that E71T-11 is suitable for multiple passes where E71T-GS is not. Could someone give a little more detail. Thanks.
Reply:Yes e71t11 is multipass all position wire. e71t-gs is single pass all position. I think the GS has more deoxidizers in it too but not 100% sureOnly problem with buying wire online is shipping costs actually make it more expensive than buying it locally. Home Depot sells that Innershield so if thats what u want and have a store in town just get it from there. If u caan get a good price online with free shipping then great. I have to order Hobart wire because no one sells it here. Even my LWS only stocks Forney brand unless I want to order it from them. If u dont mind the GS wire then u can get a good deal on wire from HTP America and they even have twin packs and stuff and I think they have Free shipping on orders of $50 or more. Never used there wire myself. If u are planning on running shielding gas and need solid wire than HTP would be great since there shouldnt be too much a difference between the same spec solid wire from different vendors.HH140---------------------------https://www.facebook.com/brandon.pike.9 |
