Hi Guys -I posted a few months back asking for advice on a welding sequence for a 100ft box girder. It was actually a bridge for a DEMAG overhead crane. German drawings. We ended up working a guy on each side of the webs back stepping ten ft lengths staying together working from one end to another. Took about 20 man hours per flange. Ended up with 3/16" camber. Im on mobile so im not going to upload pics, but you can see them on my company fb page : https://www.facebook.com/pages/STAAR...25135647588307EnjoyLaunce
Reply:Sweet!!!
Reply:Very impressive! Just curious ... is there an engineers stamp somewhere on the drawings?Around here NOTHING that seriously structural can be built without certification and calcs from an engineer registered in AZ - even metal buildings.
Reply:The drawings were stamped by a P.E. and the fab docs were stamped by a CWI.
