I need 3/16" x 3/8" solid rectangular bar/rod of any alloy of stainless (cheaper is better). My local metal shops have to order it and have it shipped UPS so i might as well order it myself but i have no idea where they are ordering it from. Right now I am just prototyping so i don't need a full stick but if i have to i will happily order one. In the future i may need large quantities.ANY leads would be great. I am in Colorado but I am guessing this is going to have to be shipped from out of state as i have called most all Colorado distributors.I can make 3/16x1/2 work (kinda) and that is common, but it would work much better to have 3/16" x 3/8" or 5mmx10mm or 5mmx8mm... Thanks in advance for the help, (i looked and looked for a place on this forum to put this question. is there a better place?)Last edited by cadmus; 10-11-2012 at 11:42 PM.

Reply:I checked:onlinemetals.comAmazon metalsmcmaster-carr...and no go.How long does it need to be? Maybe you could order wider strip as needed, and cut it to 3/8" lengths.

Reply:If it doesn't have to be perfect why don't you have someone shear it off a piece of 3/16 sheet? |
