Well looks like I found the right guys to chat too. I got a Hobart Mega arc 300-G with the Ford 2.3 runs great!! Used it all last week and no problems. I went to work today and she is burning hot, burning 6010 right threw my 1/8 pipe. I messed with all day turning dials up and down. With no improvement tried 7018 thinking the weather and moisture messed with the rods, nothing is working. You guys have any ideas for me?
Reply:Are the RPM's on high idle still normal? Check the open circuit voltage from pos to neg with a volt meter at high idle no load. I'm not sure what it should be at but I would think no higher than 95VDC.
