Good evening all, I haven't been around in a while but a lot has happened since my last post, so I wanted to drop in and say hello.....and ask for advice My tattoo artist is all about sweat equity, so I'm always trading balloon animal and magician services for tattoos. As of recent he came to me and asked me to make him an arm rest in trade for some inkage. I'm very new to Sketchup, in fact I downloaded it the day he came to me. (This morning, F.Y.I) This is what I came up with, there will be things cut out of the base with a plasma such as his name and such. Also, you will see the two arches on what would be the top of the arm rest. They will have a slot in them or maybe several holes with a cotter key in order to make it more adjustable. I also think I have decided on holes with a cotter key up the shaft, to make it adjustable as well. I couldn't figure out how to make those in the print I shall follow. Take a peek and let me know what you think. Good, bad, or ugly, I want it all! Lets Go Attached ImagesLast edited by Synenberg; 11-11-2012 at 08:43 PM.Reason: Spelling error.
Reply:not sure who it was, but some one has already done several tattooing arm rests. Do a search for it and you may find time. they are pretty straight forward and probably less work than what you've got planned there. There are no problems. There are only solutions. It's your duty to determine the right one.Hobart Handler 210Airco 225 Amp MSM Stinger |
