Do many of you guys use the looking through the gap technique on your tig roots ? I think I want to practice this method for tig rooting stainless and carbon.I see nothing but benefits from this. You watch your root go in. No more stopping and looking through the gap to be sure you are getting it in there, you see it while you weld.
