Anyone ever use one of these? What did you think of it? Looks like it could save some climbing around like a monkey on certain jobs.http://www.usaweld.com/25-Foot-Swive...p/sh-20-25.htm
Reply:This is the CK flex loc pictured doing plug welds inside AL air box for PT-19 trainer. (WW2 biplane military trainer being restored.)Liquid cooled, but this is more limited cooling than standard torch. The swivel components gradually wear out.The head swivel can be replaced by itself--for a price, last head I got from CK was $230 or so.I'm on my fourth one in 13 years.I use it all the time. The ease of adjusting the head, especially on the fly--outweighs the above. One adjusts the head rather thangoing thru the contortions of adjust their hand, wrist, arm, etc.A silicone jacketed lead set is well worth the price, for a bunch ofreasons, as well.http://weldingweb.com/attachment.php...1&d=1335897467 Attached ImagesBlackbird
