Hobart Handler 125 value

Ran across a brand new used once Hobart Handler for 165.00 at a Flea market today, looked like it had just been removed from the box, not a mark/scuff on it... is that a good price if so may go back and see if its still there tomorrow...

Reply:Guy said they were 329.00 new at TSC farm supply, figure if he would take 140-150 for it would be a really good buy, considering its basically new... may go back tomorrow and see if its still there.. thanks for the info..
Reply:If you're wanting a MIG to run solid wire and c25 shielding gas, I'd skip on the Handler 125. Save your money and purchase something better. The 125 is an entry level unit that at best is an OK solid wire unit. It offers a very limited material thickness range that it can be used on. When it's set up with  solid wire 1/8" material is to thick for the 125 to weld properly. Reply:Ignore the above. The 125 is a very solid unit. Reply:Id buy it if it were cheap. I do find everyone selling a uused machine always says its only been used once. If you take care of your tools its amazing what they look like after you wipe them down and clean them up. I dont know if you have a use for a smaller machine but reselling it for a profit to put towards another machine would be a good choice too.HH140---------------------------https://www.facebook.com/brandon.pike.9
