Made a small atachment

Ok so Im expanding my small shop in the woods and the boys dug it out mostly with the small box scrape. Now the clay is too hard for me to dig by hand, Im out of work so no extra money to rent a small Toro Dingo or Boxer so I made a small riller out of a Cub Farmall shank. I know my welds still need work, but they are getting better. These are done with the 7018 3/16. Im still having problems welding with the work facing my left side, someone told me it may because of my stigatism in my eyes. Attached ImagesLearning one rod at a time

Reply:Looks pretty sweet. The welds still look better then most farmer welds I have seen lol. I made the same thing for my kubota tractor to make a small ditch to drain. Much easier then digging by hand and alot cleaper then a mini excavator.Vantage 300 kubota ,miller 304 xmt ,lincoln ln 25 pro , ranger 305 G, plenty of other tools of the trade to make the sparks fly.
Reply:i would vee out your material so you get a deeper weld. one good rock or root can break a surface weld fast

Reply:I did put a grind on the stuff, maybe Ill go deeper next time I used the heck out of it today. I broke the white bracket, not the welds, LoL Its mostly for the garden, but Im sure Ill hook something. This spring we were plowing with them at a farm and we were in a field that they had burned trash in. I hooked a stump, while showing off with my feet on the hood and leggs holding the wheel, and the tractor stopped, and I didnt !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My buddies were on the ground laughing!
